KMZ plant, KRASNOGORSK, 1950s ORIGINAL LEATHER CASE FOR ZORKI-2S RANGEFINDER CAMERA WITH 3/8 inch TRIPOD MOUNT APPLICABLE FOR ZORKI-S ZORKI-1 ZORKI-2 CAMERAS ABOUT ITEM’S ORIGIN (You can SKIP it!) A classic Soviet Leica copy – Zorki-2S (S for Sync). Zorki-2S is almost identical to the original Zorki (Leica II (D) copy) and to previous Zorki-S camera, but it adds a self-timer to flash synch mechanism with the adjustable synch timing advance (from 0 to 25 ms), occurred at Zorki-S camera . Also, the shutter speed can be selected before of after the film is wound and the shutter is cocked. Zorki-2S body was cast, which made the camera more rigid than its predecessor, Zorki type1. As any Zorki it accepts (and RF couples to) any lens in Leica thread mount. Along with Zorki-S, it was one of the most popular 35 mm camera in the USSR in the mid 50’s. Many people used Zorki-2S for decades, long after it was discontinued by KMZ in 1960. ITEM’S CONDITION: WELL-USABLE Condition is nice cosmetically & working, leather and buckles still in well-usable condition. Examine item’s photos to appreciate it please. All functions are available. TECHNICAL FEATURES * Case is dedicated to Zorki-2S cameras, but will also applicable for Zorki, Zorki-S & Zorki-2 with bottom film loading. * The case is dedicated to cameras with non-collapsible standard focus lenses like Jupiter-8, Jupiter-3, Industar-50, Industar-26m, and will usable with collapsible FED, Industar-22 or Industar-50. * Made off genuine leather. * Tripod mount 3/8″ * Applicable with the tripod. * The camera will preserved from negative impact with the case. * The camera will look more vintage with the case. * The case will applicable for a lot of other cameras like FED-1 or even Leica-IId cameras as well. The case is a bit more high than cases for FED-1 & Zorki-1 cameras because top part of Zorki-2S is more high (around +6-8mm). * The case was made at Krasnogorsk town at KMZ plant in 1950s.
